Milestones
Published a book titled “La notte più buia della valle” analysing the decision-making process that led to the Vajont dam disaster.
Joined Cambridge Environmental Research Consultants (CERC) as Senior Software Engineer. My duties include the Development of CERC’s dispersion and emissions model as well as bespoke software solutions for scientific projects.
Graduated from my PhD in Atmospheric Chemistry from the University of Cambridge. During this stimulating experience, I started independent thinking and worked on an autonomous project that lead to the first paper as first and corresponding author. I also gave regular oral presentations about my findings during weekly group meetings.
Joined New AutoMotive as Data Analyst. My duties include processing and analysing a large amount of data using Google Cloud Platform tools, creating and implementing interactive charts on a dedicated page of the company website and developing Dash/Flask apps.
Submitted my PhD thesis where I described the development, application and validation of a novel correction algorithms allowing low–cost sensors to provide Particulate Matter (PM) measurements comparable to reference instruments data.
I participated to the 3 Minutes Thesis Competition organised by Hughes Hall and was awarded the first place award.
I participated to the Hughes Hall Research Symposium organised by Hughes Hall and was awarded the best presentation award.
I stepped up to become football captain of the Hughes Hall 11-a-side football team.
Graduated from my MSc in Atmospheric Physics from the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”. My interest for Atmospheric Physics in general focused on more peculiar areas such as Computational Physics, Remote Sensing and Optics.
Graduated from my BSc in Atmospheric Physics from the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”. During this period I developed my interest in Atmospheric Physics and Climatology.
Completed the 5 years programme during which I developed my passion for meteorology and atmospheric science in general.
